One of the joys of Angry Birds was how easy it was to pick up and play, well this game is equally simple. At the start of each level you have a number of vehicle construction components available to you and an empty grid to place them in.
You have to organise the components in a particular way to create a vehicle that will carry your Bad Piggies to their goal. For example in the first vehicle you build a simple cart to roll down a hill, but in later levels you get to be much more creative.
Bad Piggies on the Nexus 7
As you would expect, Bad Piggies runs faultlessly on the Nexus 7, there is also an HD version available for tablet users – make sure you go for this version.
I have to say that Rovio have done really well here. A follow up game was always going to be tough but Bad Piggies manages to stay simple and lots of fun. The core idea of the Angry Birds game was an old idea which has been around for decades, but the follow up seems refreshingly new.
