I have been debating this question for a long time now, but I can’t bring myself to make a decision. Can anyone here help persuade me one way or another? I mainly use my Nexus 7 for listening to music, or watching films, but sometimes use Google Drive.
My Nexus 7 is still in tip top condition, but the battery life seems to have dwindled. I’m not what you would call a power user, but Lollipop seems to use a lot of battery. It also lags sometimes, and is even worse in battery saver mode.
You could replace the battery if it is life expired. As for buying another Nexus device, my advice would be not to.
Where can you find a Nexus here in Brazil? (assuming you’re from here by your username)
I’m still enjoying my Nexus 7 (2013) see no need to upgrade it myself. I’d like a Nexus 9 but I don’t see a need to swap out just yet.
If the N7 doesn’t get Android N then I might look to see what nexus tablet is released in 2016, or even wait ’til 2017.
I don’t really see that an upgrade right now would allow me to do anything I can’t already do.
I got my N9 when they released it and still lovin it. I use it with the OEM folio keyboard and on an evening I use it instead of the laptop.
My N7 2012 is still OK. I’ve reset it back to factory and now use it mainly for chromecast control.
No regrets. The N7 owes me nothing.
I’ve had my nexus 7 for several years and love it. However, I dropped it today and although it will switch on, the screen won’t swipe, so I’m going to buy a new one. Should I upgrade to N9 ?
The Nexus 9 is still a worthy tablet but it is nolonger on sale through Google. You can probably pick up one from alternate stores of even ebay.
Hopefully there will be a new Nexus tablet for 2016?!
I wouldn’t go near a Nexus 9 now, let’s see what Google brings next.
Can we expect a Pixel Tablet?
Already exists. Pixel C.
