Saw a tweet about this site whilst watching the #Nexus5 tag, thought I’d join up.
I’ve got a Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 7 2012 (which my mother is using at the moment) and a brand new Nexus 5 waiting for me at home.
Thanks for signing up, we’re a small but growing site so it’s always good to hear from new peeps.
I replaced my Nexus 7 (2012) with the new model and am pretty pleased with the upgrade. I can’t quite bring myself to replace my Nexus 4 though.
I had a go with the Nexus 5 earlier today and it is nice, the screen seems much more vibrant and the camera is clearly better.
How are you getting on with it?
I found that my N7 usage dropped dramatically once I had finally got a decent phone.
I’m currently waiting for my replacement Micro-SIM to come in the post, so I’m still using my HTC Sensation as my main phone but I’ve got my N5 set up and ready for the SIM card.
Though I do need to phone up T-Mo and complain about my current tariff, they’ve put me on completely the wrong one and I’m overpaying like hell for it.
It’s a solid phone, good build quality and parts. The screen is beautiful, very vibrant. Only issue is that the speakers crackle on the bottom slightly, don’t know if that’s just my music being too damn loud for it or if there’s a fault on it.
Best thing about Nexus phones is being contract free! Switch to one of the SIM Only deals.
?hi guys, joined the site to try and get help, sad but tire I might be going over to iPad, this Android 5.0 is total crap on my nexus 7 2012, it was great now it won’t fun videos without rebooting, reboots when it wants, runs slow is press a button to change page and it takes up to 3 seconds to do anything, same with typing, this pos5 has taken ages to type. Google don’t respond to my problems its been going on for 3weeks I have contacted them 17 times and no reply not even an automated reply. I’m so so disappointed now, before this I recommended nexus to everyone but not any more, I have a new nuxus 5 phone it says the update is ready but I won’t install it to scared to mess up my phone as well
Yes the Nexus 7 2012 was a bit of a disaster, the 2013 fared much better. But don’t assume Apple is not without problems. Mine was bricked after an iOS upgrade. Funny thing is, when you go to the support forums you see millions of posts requesting help. So not that user friendly after all??!
