Not specifically N7 related, but the Humble Indie Bundle for Android has been released.
If you’re not familiar with the humble indie bundle concept, it’s basically a time-limited bundle of lots of ace games from independent developers where you pay what you like and the money goes to developers and charity.
Pay above the average (currently $6 US but you can afford more than that, right?) and get an extra game.
It was originally started for PCs but there have been a couple of Android bundles before now.
BTW, the last few bundles have had extras added near the end which you don’t generally have to pay extra for.
They’re seriously worth it. Support Indie developers, support charities and play lots of original games.
I’ve never heard of that before, nice idea, can’t argue with the price and concept and a good way to get hold of some new games I might not have otherwise looked at. Seems like a win-win-win.
It’s a fantastic idea and I thoroughly recommend signing up to their mailing list. I’ve bought all but one of the bundles (paying well over the average cost of course :p)
I recommend paying above the average for Spirits; that’s the best of the bundle so far. Kinda like the gameplay of Lemmings with the graphics of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.
Their last desktop based bundle raised over US$5 million but TBH I don’t expect the android one to raise that much, it’s “only” on $500k now.
…and sure enough they’ve added some more games, including the utterly BEAUTIFUL “World of Goo”. Bought this on the Wii a few years ago and if you’ve not bumped into it on Android, Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS or Wii already, you must get it.
YOU MUST :)
