A guy at work got one, paying £50 a month on contract. Too much for me.
So it is smart enough. Very quick. He hadn’t installed much but I had a little browse around and things seemed to open v fast and it was v smooth as you’d expect.
Nice size, slim too. He had it side by side by his old iPhone 6 and the Pixel looked way nicer imho. Seemed very light too, at least compared to my phone.
We took some pictures and they looked great on the screen. Can’t say beyond that we didn’t upload them.
It’s a nice phone, I wasn’t blown away, there was nothing there that made me wish I had one or I didn’t see anything that will change my life.
Perhaps worth it if you want the camera? Android looked good. Nice to see a pure Android install. I still don’t know why other manufacturers bother to screw up Android so much.
Yes, I was surprised by how light it felt. Definitely a very pocketable phone. It’s small stuff like this that does make a difference over time, each new iteration is slimmer and lighter. It’s not something that will make me rush out and spend £600 though, I’m not sure the difference between my current phone and this is worth that. Perhaps I’ll be looking at the Pixel (2017)! Or will that be the Pixel 2.
