I have taken some photographs using the nexus camera but I can’t find out where the camera pictures are stored. Hope someone can help Joe
What did you use to take the photos? It should be possible to look up where an app will save files by default.
That sais, you should be able to see them in the Gallery app? If not, you can use a file explorer app like ES Explorer to locate them.
Photos are stored in DCIM > Camera… (same as on my camera)
If you use Astro File Manager – select Top tab Locations
Location 4 > DCIM > Camera > see ‘icon’
Can also be found in Location 2 > Folder 0 > DCIM > Camera > see thumbnails (!)
One of these locations appears to be a “Back up” !
I have found my photographs in the Gallery app Thanks for the help Joe
Just an update, I found the DCIM folder using WS File explorer and my photographs are there as well as Gallery Joe
Gallery is a Photo Viewer you can’t do very much with it, Cropping, Enhancing & etc, needs a Photo Manager/Editor, available by the dozen, lol, on the App store.
Sammyone, true, but if anyone is looking for a decent photo editing app and doesn’t mind spending a few quid, then Adobe Photoshop Touch is supposed to be good. And recently updated for small tablets (ie the Nexus 7!).
A bit more than the average app perhaps, but £6.99 is hardly bank breaking – especially compared to the desktop price!
I’m not sure about any free photo editing apps, it’s just not something I really use my tablet for. I just use Paint.net on my PC!
