It’s not N7 specific, but if anyone likes cooking, the BBC Good Food Cooking app “books” are free at the moment. Considering I already pay towards the BBC, I have no guilt in claiming those for £0 :)
Cheers chap, downloading it.
And just to add… you have to download the app, and then download the cookbooks from within the app whilst they are free. Presumably at some point they will add some more paid books to tempt us…!
They probably will… They’ll suck you in with the freebies first :)
FWIW, it ran unbearably slow after I first opened it, and did so after a reboot, but seems to be running at an acceptable rate now.
Just poked my head around the door on this thread to whisper in your ear two words ‘Recipie Search’ by allthecooks.com this is oen hell of a kool app and free to install
And yep, it ran very slow for me initially, almost gave up with the downloads. But was better later.
I’ve got recipe search too, which is absolutely brilliant for ideas (also got “250,000+ Recipes” as well), but it suffers from ‘recipe overload’; too much info. The thing I like about the BBC Good Food app is that the selection is vast, but has good editorial control.
It also has proper ’rounded’ metric figures in it rather than odd numbers converted from imperial (one of them suggested I use something like “132ml” of onion, which I don’t fancy having to work out)
