Very interesting “unboxing” which takes you right down to the circuit boards, and in particular focuses on some of the good and bad design aspects of the Nexus 7. The good news is the video fast forwards the usual tedious package opening and skips to the good bits.
The opening up reveals a few secrets, such as a mysterious fourth button and it’s also interesting to see that the design allowed for the inclusion of a rear facing camera which was perhaps excluded to keep costs down or is waiting for inclusion in the second generation Nexus 7. I can see how Google might follow up with a more expensive profit making higher spec model once the brand is established.
The video goes on to demo unlocking the Nexus 7 and installing ClockWorkModrecovery.
